Website designs for jewellery shops

Jewellery is bought on trust, often for a wedding planned months ahead. Families look at collections at home, compare making charges and check that the shop sells hallmarked gold. An elegant, honest website brings them to your counter already half decided.

What a jewellery shop website needs

  1. Collections

Bridal sets, necklaces, bangles, rings, earrings, silver, diamond. Photos with weight ranges and purity.

  2. Hallmarking and purity

Say that gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked with a HUID number, and explain it in one line for buyers.

  3. Making charges and buy-back

How you charge making (per gram or percentage), and your exchange and buy-back policy.

  4. Book a visit

Families like to come by appointment for bridal shopping. A form for date, time and what they want to see.

  5. Today's rate, carefully

Gold rates change every day. Either update the rate daily with the date, or say "ask for today's rate".

  6. Security and trust

Years in business, store address and how bills are given.

Tips before you go live

  • Hallmarking of gold jewellery is compulsory in most districts, with a 6-digit HUID on each piece. Mention it only as it applies to your shop, and check the current BIS rules for your district.
  • Never show an old gold rate without the date. An outdated rate on a website causes more trouble than no rate.
  • Use your own photos. Copying catalogue photos of other jewellers or brands is not allowed and buyers notice.

Questions

Can I show the gold rate every day?

Yes. It is one line you update from the Blogger dashboard. If you cannot update daily, show "ask for today's rate" instead.

Can customers book a bridal appointment?

Yes. The appointment form sends the date and what they want to see to your WhatsApp.

Is the website safe for showing expensive pieces?

Show photos and weight ranges, not your stock levels or security details. Keep high-value pieces for the visit.

Which platform is the website made for?

Every design is made for Blogger only, Google’s free website platform. It is not for WordPress, Wix or any other platform. You need a free Google account and a Blogger blog (we can set it up with you). There is no hosting bill, you can change text, prices and photos yourself from the Blogger dashboard, and your own domain name can be connected to it.
