Website designs for NGOs, trusts and societies

Donors, volunteers and partners want proof that an NGO is real and well run before they give time or money. A transparent website shows your work, your registration and tax details, your team and how donations are used.

What a ngo website needs

  1. Mission and programmes

What you do, where and for whom, with photos and short stories.

  2. Impact in numbers

Children taught, meals served, camps held: honest, dated numbers.

  3. Registration and tax details

Registration number and type (trust, society, section 8 company), PAN, 12A or 12AB and 80G details if you have them, CSR registration number for companies.

  4. How to donate

Bank and UPI details, and that receipts are issued.

  5. Volunteer with us

A form for volunteers with their interests and availability.

  6. Reports and team

Annual reports, accounts if published, trustees and staff.

Tips before you go live

  • Mention 80G tax benefit only if your 80G approval is valid today. Donors check it.
  • Foreign contributions need FCRA registration or prior permission. Do not ask for donations from abroad without it.
  • Use photos of beneficiaries, especially children, with consent and with dignity; avoid photos that show people in distress for effect.

Questions

Can people donate online?

Yes, by UPI or bank transfer shown on the site. Online payment gateways can be added later.

Where do I show 80G and 12A details?

In the "About and registration" section and the footer.

Can I post event photos and news?

Yes. News and events are posts you write from the Blogger dashboard.

Which platform is the website made for?

Every design is made for Blogger only, Google’s free website platform. It is not for WordPress, Wix or any other platform. You need a free Google account and a Blogger blog (we can set it up with you). There is no hosting bill, you can change text, prices and photos yourself from the Blogger dashboard, and your own domain name can be connected to it.
